What this site is

cheapestacaplans.com is a free, no-account price-discovery tool for ACA-compliant individual health insurance. You enter a ZIP code, age, optional family members, and optional household income, and we surface the lowest-priced qualifying plan for your county and route you to the correct enrollment destination (HealthCare.gov, a state-based exchange, or a carrier-direct enrollment page for off-exchange plans). For enrollments routed through HealthSherpa, Nick Soman (NPN 19077026) is named as Agent of Record; insurance carriers pay Nick a monthly commission while your policy remains active, at no additional cost to you. See the privacy policy for full details. You can also enroll directly at HealthCare.gov or your state Marketplace without an agent.

Not medical, legal, or financial advice

Plan prices, subsidy estimates, tobacco and catastrophic-plan rules, and state regulatory summaries are presented for informational purposes only. They are not medical advice, legal advice, or personal financial advice. Final eligibility, pricing, and coverage terms are determined by HealthCare.gov, your state exchange, or your insurance carrier at enrollment. Always confirm details directly with the enrollment source before relying on them.

Data accuracy

Plan data is refreshed annually during Open Enrollment preparation from public-domain federal and state regulatory datasets, including federal rate and benefit publications free of copyright restriction under 17 USC §105 and state-agency rate publications. We make a reasonable effort to keep pricing and regulatory information current, but plans, subsidies, and state rules change. We provide no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose. You should verify plan availability and pricing at HealthCare.gov or your state exchange before enrolling.

Data sources

Rate and benefit data is derived from public-domain federal and state regulatory sources. Federal records are public domain under 17 USC §105; state-agency rate publications are public information by their respective state publication.

Where sources publish only an age-21 base premium, per-age premiums are computed exactly using the federally mandated HHS standardized age-rating curve (45 CFR 147.102), never approximated or interpolated.

Per-plan cost-sharing detail (deductible, max out-of-pocket, primary-care / specialist / emergency-room copays, drug-tier copays) covers about two-thirds of on-exchange plans, sourced from federal and state public records. Plans without cost-sharing detail display premium only.

Your use of the site

Use the site for personal, non-commercial plan research. Do not run automated queries against this site beyond what fair personal research requires; rate-limiting is in place to protect site availability. Do not submit false or misleading information to the search form on behalf of another person.

Small-group employer tools

The employer benefits tools at /business— including the assembled small-group plan and carrier comparison grid and the associated pricing shown there — are provided for your own company's benefits research. You may not resell, redistribute, scrape in bulk, or reuse this assembled product for a competing brokerage, lead-generation service, or data product. The personal price-discovery tool at the root of the site remains available for your personal, non-commercial plan research.

The underlying small-group rate filings are public records published by state insurance regulators. This restriction is a term of use of our normalized and personalized product, not a claim of secrecy over the source filings themselves.

Third-party links

Links from this site to HealthCare.gov, state exchanges, insurance carriers, government regulators, and other sources are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or availability of those third-party sites. Their own terms and privacy policies govern your activity on them.

Commercial relationships

cheapestacaplans.com does not accept advertising or sponsored placements. For HealthSherpa-routed enrollments in FFM-30 + GA, Nick Soman is named as Agent of Record and receives a monthly commission paid by the insurance carrier (see the privacy policy for the disclosure shown to consumers at the click moment). The consumer pays nothing extra; the choice to enroll directly via HealthCare.gov or the state Marketplace remains available.

Disclaimer of warranties and limit of liability

The site is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on any information it provides. Your sole remedy if you disagree with anything here is to stop using the site.
