About this tool
What this is
A price discovery tool for ACA health insurance across all 50 states and DC. Enter your ZIP, age, and household income, and we show you the cheapest plan in your county and where to enroll.
What this isn't
We don't sell, recommend, or advise on plans. We surface public pricing so you can compare.
How we estimate subsidies
If you add income, we estimate APTC from the PY2026 contribution curve using the 2025 Federal Poverty Level (IRS convention uses prior-year FPL for the next plan year). On top of federal APTC we layer state premium subsidies for the seven states with active 2026 programs: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, Vermont, and Washington. Each state program has its own eligibility band, formula, and tier scope, and we apply only the parts that actually reduce your price for the plan shown.
APTC applies only to on-exchange, non-Catastrophic plans; Catastrophic and off-exchange plans show at full price. The ARPA/IRA enhanced subsidies expired December 31, 2025 and are not included.
Subsidy amounts are projections. Your actual credit is reconciled at tax time. We don't verify income, household composition, tax-filing status, employer coverage, or lawful presence, any of which can affect eligibility.
Where prices come from
On-exchange plans in the 30 federal-marketplace states come from CMS's 2026 QHP Landscape. Plans in the 21 state-based exchanges, and off-exchange plans in all 51 jurisdictions, come from HIXcompare's 2026 individual-market dataset. Premiums are age-rated using the HHS standardized curve (45 CFR 147.102) and shown as non-tobacco rates.
