How this works

  • We resolve your doctor's name + ZIP to a National Provider Identifier (NPI) via the CMS Marketplace API.
  • We pass the NPI to /results, which shows the cheapest plans in your county and renders a per-plan Dr. <surname> in-network badge.
  • Network status reflects each plan's provider directory as published to CMS for plan year 2026. Networks change throughout the year — always confirm with the carrier before relying on coverage for a planned procedure.
